Service because we care
“We only have what we give”

Funding Structure
The Stilbaai area is a popular retirement destination which means that the percentage of older people is quite high. Care facilities are expensive as well as scarce, therefore home-based care has become the preferred option. The existence of Jagersbosch consequently is of the utmost importance.
Inflation, as well as reduction in government subsidies are threatening our sustainability and have forced us to rethink and adjust our strategic goals. We realise that, among other things we need to increase our membership considerably. Jagersbosch is a registered non-profit organisation that can only be sustainable with the ongoing support of the community, businesses and organisations.
We do not have an active marketing section. Without the support of the community and business people, it will be particularly difficult for us to increase the membership to 2500 according to our strategic plan. Thus our marketing effort is focused on approaching the different communities, churches, organisations as well as businesses. We need them to become involved with this effort mainly for the purpose of recruiting new members as well as to help with funding. Funding, of course also includes sponsorship of membership fees or meals in general or for specific members.
Possible Funding Sources
Donations – State Funding – Urheim Charity Shop – Fundraising Activities
State Funding
The continuing existence of the Jagersbosch Community Care Centre is extremely important. Its future existence is under threat, however, because of the reduction in government subsidies and inflation.
Urheim Charity Shop
Since the Charity Shop plays a very important role in raising funds, we kindly request donations of good second-hand clothing and household items to sell.
Fundraising Activities
Jagersbosch organises a number of standing annual fundraising functions as well as caters for various random events in Die Waenhuis and the Soeterus Hall.
