“Gesondheidsorg behoort bekostigbaar te wees vir elke persoon.”

Staatsfinansiering

The continuing existence of the Jagersbosch Community Care Centre is extremely important. Its future existence is under threat, however, because of the reduction in government subsidies and inflation. Home-based care of the elderly has become the preferred option because of the scarcity and high cost of care facilities.

As a registered non-profit organisation Jagersbosch’s future depends on the ongoing support of the community, businesses and organisations. Donations in any form, be it items for the Urheim Charity Shop, used medical equipment or hard cash, any donation is important and extremely welcome and will definitely help to keep this ship afloat.

Donations need not only be in the form of money. Equipment, items to be sold in the Urheim charity shop, non-perishable food products, materials which can be used for arts and crafts, are but a few of the many possible forms of donations to be made. Used, but still in excellent safe and usable form medical equipment such as wheelchairs, etc. Also unexpired, unopened medical supplies such as bandages, gauze, plasters, cotton wool, etc. Please keep in mind, though, that they will only accept clean, usable and safe equipment still in good condition.

Please note that Jagersbosch is an approved as well as registered non-profit organisation, therefore donations made to us, qualify for tax relief. Contact our office for more information about this.
